Hi everyone!! I’m Makenzie and the little guy in all my pictures is my son Krew.
I honestly have no idea how to do a blog in April of 2019 I went thru IVF, not because of infertility but because I was single and wanted to be a mom. I want a place I can share our journey and all our fun adventures. I want to share different things we try and experience. I want a place where I can write down the little things so I remember them forever. Really I’m just looking for a place to write down my thoughts. You’re probably thinking “why don’t you just write in a journal” right? Well here’s my thought process. Following your dreams are often frowned on in our society if they don’t follow the “normal” path. Such as becoming a mom thru IVF without a partner as an example. I’m hoping my experience can help other woman know that it’s okay to do this alone. It’s okay to chase your dreams even tho the perfect man hasn’t walked into your life. There are ways around that. I’ve also learned the IVF and infertility are not talked about enough. Women need to know they are not alone. Anyways, if my experience and the words I share here help just one person I’d say that is a success. Hope you enjoy!!
